A groovy mind…

So it starts.

Somewhere along the journey a needle gets dropped into a groove.  An experience begins in which you partake in another persons life. A turbulence of sound, a flurry of thoughts while you hang on to each morsel of created artistry engraved in the walls of the groove.  Hopefully you cleaned your needle so you can get it.  You can get your view of what this person is trying to convey…you can just be.

I started this blog to read and reflect upon my thoughts.  My experience of those grooves.  I have some experience and I tend to then just live with it in my mind.  It changes my own being, but I see that I don’t get a chance to share that experience or thought or feeling with anyone.  This is my attempt to reclaim that chance.

I intend this blog to be a culmination of thoughts organized and disorganized.  Life, vinyl, audio, jazz, scotch…whatever moves me, speaks to me.  Freedom of thought through expression.  A recognition of the silence between the notes which is often times, more important than the notes themselves.

So it starts. Hang onto your grooves…
